The work of Oscar Estruga, in the middle of the wonderful Ribes Roges beach in Vilanova i la Geltrú. An emblematic symbol of the city, that it´s worth making a stop to visit it to enjoy the sights and to figure out the beautiful history from Greek Mythology, because our city is bathed by the same sea bathing Creta.
Pasifae daughter of the sun, deeply in love with the whitest bull of her husband Minos king of Creta.
As a fruit of the consummation of their love, was born the Minotaur.

Pasifae hija del sol, sufrió una loca pasión por el toro más blanco de la manada de su esposo Minos Rey de Creta y fruto de la consumación de ese amor nacio el Minotauro.
